Equipment Maintenance Welding
Our Utility Welding Division is capable of preforming all types of fabrication and repairs on heavy equipment in the mining industry.
Welding on worn out equipment poses many challenges as dirt, moisture and other organics that often get embedded into the parent metal which can lessen the quality of the finished weld. Our welders must be on top of there game and there is no margin for error.
The material being repaired must be cleaned properly, brought up to the correct preheat and welded with multi-pass stringers which produce a better grain structure in the weld.
The main reason Vault stands out from the rest of the competition is we hire Owner-Operators meaning we just don’t employ any welder. We hire DSP’s that own their own welding business and have a minimum 3 years experience welding on mining/forestry equipment. We want contractors who specialize in equipment repair and are very knowledgeable in the field so when it come to diagnosing the problem and how to complete the repair properly our guys jump into action.

HDPE Services
VAULT’s field technicians have up to date fusion training credentials on HDPE and PP-R pipe. Our HDPE team will build your utilities to your exact specification. We can handle any installation using 2” IPS through to 63” IPS pipe. HDPE butt fusing has made enormous advancements in recent years and we are able to provide you with the latest in fusing machine manufacturer datalogging technology. We will record all of the variables from each joint throughout the entire fusing process. Every joint’s fusion report will provide you with a record that shows critical information from bead up, through soaking, and on to cooling. If requested, our in-house experts can help your project team interpret the various graphs and charts included with the report. With these records, you can be assured that every joint will be of the highest quality, and that your HDPE system will perform exactly as designed.

In the rolls of principal contractor and sub contractor we take account of environmental and health and safety issues throughout the design, construction and maintenance works. VAULT can provide the expertise to advise on health and safety issues and have actively produced and managed risk assessments for clients on a whole range of projects and at varying stages of the contract.
